Birdsong Nature Center, a living museum and conservation education center, is the perfect setting for visitors to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife of the Southwest Georgia region. Twelve miles of Nature Trails provide a casual hiking experience and opportunity to explore a variety of habitats, including wildfower meadows, forests, ponds and swamps, that are a haven to birds and other wildlife. Throughout the Center there are special places for visitors to relax and observe nature and wildlife, such as the extraordinary Bird Window, Butterfly Garden and the Listening Place at Big Bay Swamp. Birdsong hosts many guided walks and nature events throughout the year.
