Patterned after an English cottage, this quaint home called the Forbes Cottage, has always been painted red.
Built in 1891 and a prime example of the Queen Anne Shingle style, Forbes Cottage was used in the 1920s as a
kindergarten where children were taught foreign languages and etiquette.
