Evan's House

The Evans House, built in 1898, was once called the “Honeymoon” Cottage because so many honeymooners stayed here. Damaged by fire in 1908, the home was repaired to look as you see it today. The front porch originally wrapped around the left side of the house and the yard was enclosed by a picket fence. Most of the homes on this tour are private residences and are not open to the public, but feel free to admire the outside structure.
